Monster Mini Golf

Those of you who are ardently following the legal debacle of Monster Mini Golf vs Monster Cable, here's a link to an article on Engadget.

It seems that the nefarious and grumpy Monster Cable will sue anyone who's company refers to the word "Monster" in any way, shape or form. Here's a link to just a few pages of their lawsuits against anyone who dares to use the "M" word.

And I'm sure the free advertising doesn't hurt. The cynical side of me says, "You can't pay for this kind of advertising" but at the same time, I wouldn't want to be in their golf shoes. Luckily, Krazie Golf is lien free - give us a call.

I'm sure the good folks at Monster Mini Golf have had many a sleepless night worrying about this lawsuit. Too many times we here about the little guys losing to the big corporate monsters (hee!) in court. It makes me happy to see the public rallying to defend this small company in the interest of everything that is good and right.

Long live Monster Mini Golf!

Here's what Monster Mini Golf just accompished:

-Monster Cable Founder Noel Lee has agreed to the following:
First: They have dropped their oppositions to our trademarks and are allowing us to register them (without a license agreement).

-Second: Monster Cable (or more importantly Noel Lee himself) has agreed to compensate us for legal fees.

-Third: he has issued a written apology to us.

-Fourth: There is NO gag order on this whole ordeal!! which means we can talk about all facets of this to anyone.

(And this is the one that EVERYONE wanted.....)
Noel has pledged personally to re-evaluate MC's position in the future in regards to trademark enforcement, and promises to be personally involved with all future oppositions.
This is huge, because what it means is that this is not likely to happen again in the future.

The world spoke, and Monster Cable listened, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

I have a personal letter from Noel with all of the above stated and we have come a long way from last month!
here is a link to our page with letters from us and him:

Top Secret Project - Episode 2

If you were to Google "Custom Creations", you would find that we excel in oversized props, 3D styrofoam sculpture and black light miniature golf to name but a few of our abilities.
