I'm not sure how many of our readers are familiar with the iconic photo of the WW2 kiss between a sailor and a nurse in 1945, taken in celebrations marking the end of WW2 in Times Square , New York. The photo was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt on August 14 1945 and became world-known after being published in Life magazine. Hundreds of people are set to re-enact the kiss in Times Square today.   To help commemorate the 65th anniversary of the U.S. triumph over Japan , V-J Day, a 26 foot statue representing the image has been installed for viewing both today, and tomorrow (Aug 14-15, 2010).
