Happy New Year everyone! The year at Themendous has already started with a HUGE sculputre(s) on it's way to Branson Mo. which will soon be viewable for the mass media (but more about that later, wink wink) The bigger news right now is all about a "little" boat, made by our very own shop sculptor of almost 14 years now; Joe Reginella. Joe has been making "waves" and pretty much broke the internet this week, with his now infamous Jaws baby bed!  He got the idea to make the baby bed while at the studio working away on a life sized Jaws head for an upcoming magazine's photo shoot  (more about this after the magazine is on the news stands).  Check out one of the latest story links below, as well as our time lapse on the life sized jaws head back at our studio... Here it is fans,  Our intro video of "Last Time, on Themendous" This is part 1 of a great sizzle put together for us by 2CMedia, who has graciously allowed us to air it on our social channels.  The video was shot and edited by the talented husband/wife team of Zeus and Jennifer Leyva of Cabana Pictures.  There will be more to come from this sizzle, as it covers a hard hit deadline for a project we made for Jimmy Buffet's Margartiaville in Jamaica.  (having just gotten hit by Hurrican Sandy, they had an urgent need to rebuild, and came to us Themendous, for that very help.  Believe it or not, we were already scheduled to film a sizzle revolving around a different build, when the hurricane happened to hit.   The footage from this project just fell in place.

Just completed this HUGE donut for Entenmann's Donuts... Just in time for #nationaldonutday ! This will be featured tomorrow:  June 6th which is National Donut Day... Hope to see you there!

As most of you know, this past IAAPA '13 show was the first time in 15 years as members that we did not exhibit in the show, as pending projects and overlapping deadlines did not allow us to set aside any time to build a booth this year (we change our booth design every year.  Check them out here ).  As all of you know, the IAAPA show is very important to us and so while we could not exhibit, we decided to walk the show, not only as a buyer for a current project, but view it through an attendees eyes.  Something that I have always tried to do while exhibiting, but never had the chance as working our booth requires all hands on deck.  My experience as an attendee/buyer was amazing!  But I still had the blood of an exhibitor flowing through my veins.  So walking down the isles I was so shocked to see a number of things that exhibitors were both doing and not doing, that I thought I would share those findings with our community.  I invite you to rea...
