Happy New Year everyone! The year at Themendous has already started with a HUGE sculputre(s) on it's way to Branson Mo. which will soon be viewable for the mass media (but more about that later, wink wink) The bigger news right now is all about a "little" boat, made by our very own shop sculptor of almost 14 years now; Joe Reginella. Joe has been making "waves" and pretty much broke the internet this week, with his now infamous Jaws baby bed!  He got the idea to make the baby bed while at the studio working away on a life sized Jaws head for an upcoming magazine's photo shoot  (more about this after the magazine is on the news stands).  Check out one of the latest story links below, as well as our time lapse on the life sized jaws head back at our studio... Just completed this HUGE donut for Entenmann's Donuts... Just in time for #nationaldonutday ! This will be featured tomorrow:  June 6th which is National Donut Day... If you are in the NYC area specifically Washington Square Park,  come on down tomorrow Friday June 6th from 7:00am to 3:00pm and have a blast with Entenmann's,  Salvation Army, and ourselves: Themendous !!! Looks like doing this over my outdated iPhone isn't working so well, which is a shame, as I wanted to post some oddities.  So,  I will update the blog later this evening when I finally get home and have a glass of home made wine.  Sorry folks.  I seem to be stuck in a web!   (web actually part of our current black light minigolf project "Isle of Dr. More Glow"  Installing next week at Cassat's Batt Bowl in Jacksonville FL.

One of the cool things about this guy's job is that he gets to see cool things like all the cool Google lawn sculptures that we made... and THAT... is COOL ! You're welcome cool dude... You're welcome.

Wow, I can't believe how fast the year has gone.  Why it seems as if it were just yesterday that the country was running around ducking for protection from the swine flu and then along came Cinco de Mayo to take our minds off everything "flu-ie"  Anyway,  Last year at this time, we were working on this cool project for Canobie Lake Park.  The REALLY cool thing is that we are currently working on ANOTHER project for Canobie right now!  Unfortunately, we can't show it to you just yet, as the park wishes that we keep it a secret.  One thing that I will tell you is that we: "the King of HUGE" will hold up to our name!  So,  sit back grab a tequila, and enjoy this blast from the past!    

It's no secret that we are always working.  And that brings on many responsibilities... Like this dirty little secret!

While this, our latest install, is now installed, we thought you would like to see a little more about us and how we get around... join us won't you, as we head off to Chicago via the ferry from Weehawken NJ, to NYC, E train into Queens and then try to fool Luc into thinking we missed our stop! All this....Plus a bag of chips...on our next installment!

A dainty 5 foot creme brulee or even and old fashioned sundae? The possibilities are endless! The 10' Long Eclair has made it's way to the Google campus, joining the Android, Cupcake and Donut. We don't know what will come next from Google Corp. (or do we???) but we do know it will be HUGE!
