Colin Powell with Google's Android!

WOW !!! I just received this photo from our client GOOGLE and was jazzed to see Colin Powell standing in front of our 13 foot tall Android Robot! This is really cool!

Colin Powell has now officially been inducted to the "Six Degrees of Custom Creations Separation" web game!
(I just came up with that. Actually many celebs have had run ins with us and our works. More on that later.)

The Android was a mad rush job for Google in October of 2008. It was completed in all of four very long days. It stands 13 feet tall and is 7' - 6" in diameter. We made it to ship out in four pieces and easy to assemble. Quick fact - the truck left our shop on a Friday at 7:30 pm and made it to the Google Campus that Monday at 5:30 AM. Now THAT'S service!!!!! (Not like Roadway who lost our Funexpo crates for a month. They suck.)

So here is Colin Powell, who was reported to have said these very words: "Man oh man, if I had this Android Robot, created by no other than Custom Creations, I could have sent people running for the hills"! (That's what I was told he said. Who am I to say that he didn't, right?)

Cristiano Ronaldo's Sculpture Gone Wrong

Cristiano Ronaldo is represented by a bronze bust of his "likeness", and the internets on FIRE! World famous athlete with all the charm and good looks one could ask for..... clearly missed in this bronze replica.   So how in the world does this happen?   When creating a figurative life portrait sculpture, one collects imagery from all angles to replicate in form.  This piece was sculpted in clay first to then cast in bronze.  Clay is the most forgiving and easily adjusted material known to sculptors!  So who approved this facial expression as a correct representation of Cristiano Ronaldo?  Or did the artist not reveal any progress photos as the sculpture came into form?  Was he granted the job just to reveal this final with any updates in between?  The internet has been buzzing with endless memes criticizing the bust , as Cristiano has to grit and bear this permanent representation of himself.  And how did the artist respond to the outrage ?  He com

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011 PREVIEW

One of our latest projects: Our Victoria's Secret PINK dog mirror balls make their appearance in this youtube video at 4:19 in. We made a total of 8 dogs at 3ft long each. We then scored the internet for pink glass tile suppliers and cleaned up everything out there. Yes folks, there are NO MORE pink glass tiles available. This was a great and challenging project to say the least, as there were the usual delays that happen when you take on not only a custom project, but a prestigious one as well. Everything had to be spot on to Victoria's Secret Pink Brand. The usual multitude of emails, texts and conference calls between our shop, the local production studio and the VS France office took place. Once we were off and running with our sculptures, we needed to find the pink glass mirror tiles and as mentioned above, there were not many out there and all needed to be special ordered and cut to our specifications. Those tiles then needed to be overnighted, or we would not b
